Observations
OpenGEO observations in English: how Chinese AI search assistants rewrite queries, filter results and cite sources, each finding labeled.
Each observation records one test: I ask a question in the web version of a Chinese AI assistant and capture the search queries it actually generates, the results it gets back, and the sources it finally cites. Test conditions and times are stated at the start of each record. So far each test uses one account and one continuous conversation, and a single observation is not a statistical pattern.
Every finding is labeled by its basis: seen directly in the capture is “Observed”, deduced from what was observed is “Inferred”, and not captured or not possible to determine is “Unknown”. Only some observations are translated into English; the full set is on the Chinese site. New English observations are available via RSS.
